Step 2 :

MOISTURE

Curls absolutely crave moisture, so getting the moisture into the hair follicle is extremely important. Start by selecting a sulphate free shampoo and massaging the shampoo gently on the scalp to ensure your scalp gets a good clean repeating this twice is a good idea to ensure you are starting off with a super clean base.

Choosing a conditioner specially suited for curly hair and applying only to the mid lengths and ends keeping the conditioner away from the scalp with help with some volume in the later stages.

Flicking your head over and gently scrunching the conditioner into the hair follicles helps to ensure the hair is soaking up as much of that conditioner as possible.

Once rinsed out its important to resist the urge to vigorously scrub or rough towel dry your hair as it can cause frizz and damage, instead treat your curls delicately, embracing their natural bounce and beauty

Step 3 :

Now it’s time for some Definition.

Cream - Apply a curl enhancing cream of your choice to your damn hair, making sure you distribute it evenly from roots to tip.

Gel - Next Apply a gel of your choice. The gel helps to lock and seal in the moisture that we have been forcing into the hair follicle. Without the gel the moisture can easily be lost. Scrunch your hair gently , encouraging each curl to take its own shape. For added definition, finger coiling individual curls around your finger, around the front of the face and the top section of your hair. 

Step 4: 

Drying Method

For maximum curl definition and volume opting for a hair dryer with a diffuser attachment is best, otherwise letting your hair air dry is also another option.

With the Hair dryer on the lowest speed and temperature setting, flick your head over and start drying at the roots. Cup your curls very gently in the diffuser attachment and lift up to the roots. Working section by section, being very gentle not to disrupt your curls. Gently flick your head back up and continue to cup your curls in the diffuser working up to your roots section by section until your hair is 100% dry

Step 5 :

Now all the hard work is done and your beautiful curls are completely dry its time for the finishing touches. If desired, you can apply a small amount of hair oil to add a touch of shine  and smoothness to your curls. One or two drops goes along way with hair oil so applying to the palms of your hands and gently scrunching in the products into your curls with help to add shine and break up the cast that you created with the gel application
