Refunds & Returns

At Curl Cosmetics, our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure or any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality, provided the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Returns & Refunds

Curl Cosmetics allows returns and refunds on any product that is faulty, damaged, or if there was an error made on our behalf.

A refund will be issued provided that:

1. You contact us at contact@curlcosmetics.com.au within 7 business days of receiving the item, citing your order number and identifying the defect. Please retain and send photographic evidence of the error or damage.

2. You return the item within 7 days of contacting us.

If your request is approved, we will provide a full refund for the cost of the item(s) and the return delivery cost (unless it is a change-of-mind return).

Refunds will be processed via the original method of payment. Please note that processing times may vary.

If your return is not approved, you will not receive a refund and will be responsible for any associated shipping fees.

Product Sensitivities & Reactions

At Curl Cosmetics, we understand that sensitivities and allergic reactions to products can vary from person to person. All product ingredients are clearly listed on our website and packaging to allow customers to make informed purchasing decisions before use. We strongly recommend reviewing the ingredient list and conducting a patch test before full application.

As individual sensitivities are not considered a product fault under the Australian Consumer Law, we do not offer refunds for reactions or sensitivities. If you experience an adverse reaction, we recommend discontinuing use immediately and consulting a healthcare professional if necessary.


Change of Mind Returns

If you made a mistake or changed your mind about a product (this does not include reasons such as the product not suiting your hair), please email us at contact@curlcosmetics.com.au, and we will consider your request.

You will need to return the item, and a refund will be issued once we have received and inspected it. The item must meet the following conditions:

1. You must contact us to return your product within 7 days of receiving the item.

2. The item must be in its original purchase condition—unused, unopened, and with undamaged packaging.

3. Items purchased on sale or at a discount are non-returnable.

Please note: We are unable to cover postage fees for change-of-mind returns.

Returning Sale Items

Items purchased on sale cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged unless faulty.

Once your return is approved, confirmation will be sent via email. The product must be returned to the address provided within 7 days of approval. Items must be in their original condition—unused and unopened.
